Refund and Cancellation Policy

Travel arrangements can change after a charter plan has been accepted. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Luxastraaero handles cancellation requests, refunds, late cancellations, no-shows, and requests to amend an accepted itinerary.

Luxastraaero operates from Hong Kong and follows a consultation-based private jet booking process. For cancellation or amendment requests, customers must contact us at jetliner@luxastraaero.com.

Your Cancellation Window

The amount returned following a cancellation depends on when Luxastraaero receives the customer's email in relation to the accepted departure time.

Situation Timing Outcome
Standard Cancellation 48 hours or more before departure Full refund of paid booking amount
Late Cancellation Less than 48 hours before departure 50% cancellation fee
No-Show Passenger does not appear Entire paid amount retained
Plan Change At least 72 hours before departure Considered subject to feasibility

The accepted departure time stated in the applicable charter arrangement is used to determine these timeframes.

Cancelling 48 Hours or More Before Departure

Customers who decide not to proceed with their charter should email jetliner@luxastraaero.com as soon as reasonably possible.

When a cancellation request is received 48 hours or more before the accepted departure time , Luxastraaero will provide a full refund of the amount paid for the affected booking.

The cancellation email should contain enough booking information for our team to identify the relevant charter arrangement.

Cancelling Within 48 Hours

A different condition applies when a cancellation reaches us less than 48 hours before the accepted departure time.

In this situation, a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted from the amount paid for the affected booking. The remaining eligible portion will be returned to the customer.

The cancellation timeframe is based on when the request reaches our team, rather than when the customer begins preparing or sending the request.

When a Passenger Does Not Arrive

Failure to appear for a scheduled departure without completing an applicable cancellation will be regarded as a no-show.

For a no-show, the entire amount paid for the affected booking will be retained . No portion of that amount will be returned.

Customers who become unable to travel are therefore encouraged to communicate with our team before the applicable cancellation window closes.

Changing Rather Than Canceling

A request to change an accepted itinerary is handled separately from a cancellation.

Customers must submit amendment requests at least 72 hours before the accepted departure time by emailing jetliner@luxastraaero.com.

Requested changes may concern travel dates, departure times, destinations, passenger details, routes, or other elements of the accepted flight plan.

An amendment request does not automatically alter the existing booking. Changes depend on factors such as aircraft availability, route feasibility, scheduling, airport requirements, and operating circumstances. A revised arrangement may also result in a different quote.

Unless a revised arrangement is communicated by our team, the existing itinerary continues to apply.

When Operations Disrupt the Journey

Weather, air traffic directions, airport restrictions, governmental requirements, regulatory directions, security measures, aircraft circumstances, or other operational events may affect a scheduled charter.

Where Luxastraaero cannot operate an affected journey as arranged, available alternatives will be discussed where feasible. Any refund entitlement arising from such circumstances will be handled according to the applicable booking arrangement and Hong Kong law.

Refund Administration

Where a refund is due under this policy, customers may be asked to provide information reasonably required to identify the booking and process the return of the eligible amount.

Refund matters will be communicated using the contact information associated with the booking.

Hong Kong Framework

This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region . Applicable requirements may include the Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance (Cap. 457) , Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71) , and Unconscionable Contracts Ordinance (Cap. 458).

Personal data supplied in connection with cancellation or refund requests will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (PDPO).

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict a statutory right where such restriction is not permitted under applicable Hong Kong law.
